- The amount of required reading
- The emphasis on using academic sources
- Understanding the nature and purpose of some of the reading
- The complexity of some texts –so many new terms
- Keeping track of ideas – theirs and yours
- Critically analysing texts as well as understanding them
- Using sources without plagiarizing accidentally – such a big issue!
